HOW TO GET TO BATUMI
There are 1 and 2 stops flights from many countries to Batumi Airport, but the prices are a bit expensive 🙂 Therefore, it would make sense to plan a large-scale trip and experience the whole of Georgia.

You can go from the Batumi Airport to the city center by buses or taxis.
OPTION 1: MUNICIPAL BUSES
Batumi municipal buses No:10/10a have a fixed route: Airport-Batumi Centre. Bus stop is in front of the terminal and it takes just 20 minute for a bus to get to the city centre. Buses are scheduled to depart every 10-15 minutes, with the last bus leaving the airport at 9.55pmThe travel fee is 30 tetri.
However, in January 2023, the system got an upgrade so you can now pay for a single fare with any chipped/contactless bank card, including international cards, or with contactless pay. If you use an international credit/debit card, the fare will be slightly more expensive (around 80 tetri).
If you want to buy a bus card, rechargeable orange transport cards can be purchased at the souvenir shop inside the departures hall (immediately on the left as you enter). The card costs 2 GEL.
OPTION 2: PRIVATE TRANSFER WITH GOTRIP
An effective and reasonably priced option if you’re coming late, have a lot of luggage, or just want to plan your transportation ahead of time and avoid using taxi, is a private ride from Batumi Airport to the city center: GoTrip.ge.
You can arrange a shuttle to any location in Georgiaby starting 17$. If For example, you can arrange for a direct transfer from the airport to Mestia. This service is available around-the-clock. When you make a reservation online, the pricing is fixed, and cash payments are given to the driver directly. The driver will be in the arrivals hall waiting for you when you get there.
There are multiple ATMs in the arrivals area, or for no additional fee, you can request that your vehicle make a stop at a bank, money exchange, or ATM in the city.
OPTION 3: TAXI
Taxis take you to Batumi city center for around 40 GEL. When taxis do not have a taximeter, negotiate to get in:)
PRICES IN BATUM
Another thing you need to know about Batumi is the prices.
Food is cheaper compared to Europe. In an average restaurant, a main course + salad + dessert + drink costs around 40 GEL per person. Alcohol and cigarettes are also cheaper compared to Europe.

Accommodation costs 10-15€ per day in a good hostel; You can stay in a good hotel for 30-50 TL per day.
If I am planning to stay for more than 3 days, I prefer to stay in a home to cook my own food instead of eating all out. I am choosing homes in my travels by comparing airbnb and Booking.com.

BATUMI CLIMATE
The last thing you need to know about Batumi is its climate structure: Batumi has a subtropical climate. In this way, mild and rainy weather is observed in the city throughout the year. Even in the driest months, the amount of precipitation is high 🙂
You will not find that the weather is unbearably cold in Batumi during the winter months. In winter the temperature rarely drops below 0. The annual average temperature is 14°C.
The weather in Batumi, which has a subtropical climate, is generally humid. The months with the highest air temperature are the summer months.

Considering the weather, the best months to go to Batumi are: May, June, July, August, and September (of course, you should take the humidity into consideration throughout the summer).
